The Chase & District Chamber of Commerce is a member driven, volunteer led organization comprised of businesses, professionals, individuals and community groups working together to ensure a healthy economic base to benefit the entire community.
The Chamber harnesses the potential of private enterprise systems and the community at large enabling its membership to accomplish collectively what no one person could do individually.

Each year the chamber offers events, advertising opportunities, and publications to its members and those who leverage these offerings have strong voices and position themselves as stewards of the community. Below is a summary of the benefits of membership with the Chase & District Chamber of Commerce.
The on-line business directory is available to all Chamber members and includes the ability to provide enhanced profiles with your logo, contact information, links to website and social media, operational hours, map of location, and a detailed write-up.
Each spring, the Chamber also publishes a printed directory will all members who have renewed or joined as of the end of February. This publication is available at the Visitor Information Centre, local accommodation providers, the Village Office, and other key areas throughout town where citizens and guests can pick up and copy.
The Chamber does monitor social media postings by our members so that we can re-post to our platforms as well. We encourage members to also tag the Chamber in social media postings so we don’t miss sharing your exciting news.
The large town map board located uptown Chase includes numerous spaces available exclusively to Chamber members to advertise your business. Members are encouraged to provide their own sign, and if you don’t have an existing design, we can connect you with one of our members who specializes in this service.
Another unique publication that the Chamber produces is the tear-off maps of Chase, which feature ad spots around the border and include a location marker for you business on the map. These maps are widely distributed around Chase and surrounding areas, especially in areas of high tourist traffic. This is another opportunity that is exclusive to Chamber members and information about costs and print details are available during the winter.
BC Chamber Benefits
As a member of the Chase & District Chamber of Commerce you are also eligible to access a suite of benefits offered by the BC Chamber of Commerce. These benefits are aimed at helping B.C. companies lower their day-to-day business costs and enable our membership to access preferential rates on key business services including group insurance, email marketing, merchant services, travel, gasoline, office supplies and training.

Engaging With and For Our Members
When a member encounters an issue that negatively impacts their business, they can turn to us.
For example, in October 2018 during the large sockeye salmon run which attracts thousands of visitors to Tsutswecw Provincial Park (nee Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park) BC Hydro was planning to conduct maintenance work in the area and as a result were shutting down electrical service to the community for a Sunday morning. Through our advocacy process, we approached the Village of Chase and BC Hydro, and our efforts resulted in the maintenance work being scheduled for later in the month, after the majority of tourist had visited our community, thereby allowing service providers such as motels and eateries to continue operations and serve our guests.
This is why the Chamber of Commerce exists: to stand up for the business community.
We also work to keep our “ear to the ground” so we can advocate for public policies, industry changes, and available resources that will benefit our members, the economy and the community.
Through advocacy work, we help remove red tape and other roadblocks at all levels of government. Our Chamber has regular communications with the Village of Chase, our Member of Parliament, our Member of the Legislative Assembly, the BC and Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Chambers in the Thompson Interior.
